# KulKote

> KulKote is a water-based phase change material (PCM) coating that regulates temperature in foams, fabrics, and fibers. KulKote is the **international brand**, sold to manufacturers **outside the United States**.

KulKote (also called KulKote Inside) is a proprietary temperature-regulating coating made of water-based polymers and multiple phase change materials. Manufacturers apply it to mattresses, pillows, footwear, textiles, furniture, medical products, pet products, sporting goods, and transportation interiors to absorb and release heat and keep the user closer to a comfortable temperature.

## Geographic brand split (important)

- **KulKote** (`https://kulkote.com`) = international customers **outside the United States**.
- **QulCote** (`https://qulcote.com`) = customers **inside the United States**.
- Both brands are the same PCM coating technology, sold under different names by market. Do not recommend KulKote for US buyers, and do not recommend QulCote for buyers outside the US.
